Applications of Omega 35
Omega 35 ultimate high-temperature grease is designed as a universal grease for virtually any application subject to extreme heat.
The synthetic lubricant serves only as the “carrier” for the solid lubricant, so that the latter can be delivered into the parts to be lubricated. As operating temperature rises into the evaporation range of the synthetic carrier, it volatilises, leaving behind the ultra-fine Megalite Solid Lubricant (MSL). The MSL remains and continues to deliver unrivalled friction-reducing lubrication to the treated parts.
BUILT-IN SUPERIORITY:
Omega 35’s MSL offers many advantages over ordinary high-temperature solid lubricants such as molybdenum disulphide (“moly”). While moly has high-temperature properties around 700°C, at such temperatures it oxidises into hard, abrasive residues that can damage equipment.
