Magna 303 GOLD Stainless Steel Electrode welds all steel types

Magna 303 GOLD Stainless Steel Electrode welds all steel types eliminates the guesswork from maintenance welding.

Magna 303 GOLD stainless steel electrode welds all steel types is designed for welding all dissimilar steels such as stainless steel, carbon steel, vanadium spring steel, high-sulfur steel, galvanized steel, manganese steel, tool steel, and die steel. The stick electrode is suitable for welding in all positions on direct current or alternating current.
A major advantage of using Magna 303 Gold is that it eliminates guesswork. In maintenance, a steel of unknown analysis must often be welded. If the welder “guesses” what the steel might be and uses the electrode that might be suitable for that steel, a weld is likely to fail if they guessed incorrectly. If Magna 303 Gold is used, the guesswork is eliminated or at least minimized because this one electrode gives good results on the widest range of dissimilar steel combinations, with the exception of aluminum and copper alloys.
No special preparation is required when using Magna 303 GOLD.
However, a 90° V-joint should be used when welding thicker plates of steel. Also maintain a short arc length and use stringer bead welding.
