Omega lubricants have been carefully created with innovative technologies since the 1960s. Pure paraffin is used as a base with the addition of Megalite. Megalite is a group of additives designed by Omega. This Megalite is extremely heat-resistant and remains stable up to 1093°C. Unlike traditional additives, Megalite does not break down when heated or form a corrosive or abrasive by-product. It is a completely inert chemical product that is not affected by acids or caustic solutions. Due to Megalite’s molecular structure, it can withstand enormous pressure without building up layers, which does happen with other EP additives. It will also leave no sludge, ensuring optimal lubrication.
